You've probably had the experience: sitting across from a therapist, saying words, and sensing that they're running you through a mental checklist. Nodding in the right places. Waiting for their turn to suggest "have you tried journaling?"
This isn't that.
I listen like your story is the most important thing in my day. Because when you're in my session — it is.
What to expect
- 50-60 minute sessions via secure video
- My approach: CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care — but honestly, mostly listening deeply and asking the right questions
- We go at your pace. No timelines. No pressure to "make progress" by some arbitrary metric.
- I'll be direct with you. Compassionately direct. If I see something, I'll name it — gently, but clearly.
Who this is for
- You've been dismissed by providers before and you need someone who actually hears you
- You're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions — or all of the above
- You want a provider who's been through their own hard stuff, not just studied yours
- You're ready for honesty, not just validation
Who this isn't for
If you need intensive inpatient care, I'll help you find the right resource. And if you need a provider who only validates and never challenges — I'm compassionate, but I'm direct. That's what makes this work.
You might be wondering...
"Is this just going to be someone asking 'and how does that make you feel?'"
No. I ask real questions. I push back (gently). I help you see what you can't see from inside it. This is not passive nodding.
"What if I cry?"
Good. That usually means we're getting somewhere. I have tissues and zero judgment.

No commitment beyond the first conversation. If we're not the right fit, I'll tell you — and help you find someone who is.
