Here's what medication management usually looks like: 15 minutes. "How are you doing?" "Fine." "Good, I'll renew the prescription." And you leave wondering if "fine" was the right answer because you don't actually know what "working" is supposed to feel like.
Here's what it looks like with me: 60 minutes (first visit). I ask real questions. I explain exactly what the medication does — in words that make sense, not pharmacology jargon. I tell you what the first two weeks will feel like. I tell you what to watch for. I give you my actual response time for questions between visits (24 hours).
Because the prescription is the easy part. The education, the follow-up, the partnership — that's where medication actually works.
My approach
- Start low, go slow. I'm conservative by nature.
- I explain EVERYTHING. Side effects. Timeline. What "working" should feel like.
- 2-week follow-up after any medication change (not 3 months)
- We decide together. I'm not handing you a prescription — I'm offering a recommendation.
- Supplements and lifestyle alongside medication, not instead of it
Who this is for
- You're on medication but nobody's ever really explained it
- You've been on the same thing for years and don't know if it's still right
- You need a fresh start with someone who takes the time
- You're nervous about medication and need someone patient
You might be wondering...
"Will I become a zombie?"
Not if I have anything to do with it. If a medication flattens you, we change it. Your personality is not a side effect I'm willing to sacrifice.
"What if I don't want to take medication?"
Then we don't. Medication is always your choice. I'll give you information, never pressure.
